Cash for Local Change is a program of Full Circle Trade & Thrift. Businesses sign up to donate 1% of their monthly cash sales to local nonprofits, and in turn get increased cash sales and lots of free advertising. This infographic was a huge poster (24 x 30) to explain how the program works, the benefits of spending cash in our local economy, and the details of how to participate. Julie Sullivan Design created the Cash for Local Change branding, and I expanded on the fun style of the logo by creating simple visual elements with bright colors to help explain the details of this program. I also created an interactive iPad application and a brochure.
I recently wrapped up the filming of short videos for over 30 businesses involved in the program with videographer Alan Viramontes. Check out the videos on the Cash for Local Change Vimeo and Facebook pages, and be sure to spend cash when you can to keep money in our local economy.
